Support key Health Partners in developing and executing engagement strategies that build confidence in CareSource’s ability to fulfill promises, demonstrate integrity when resolving issues, and foster pride in collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support account strategy and provide account support to drive overall satisfaction and engagement of key Health Partners.
  • Resolve routine issues with Health Partners in accordance with department service-level agreements.
  • Participate in maintaining and developing key relationships within defined Key Accounts.
  • Proactively reach out to Health Partners to ensure their needs are met and assist in resolving concerns.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in designated systems (e.g., PR Customer Relationship Management tool).
  • Complete Health Partner education, compliance, and complaint resolution activities.
  • Assign tasks to Health Partner Consultants as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with departmental staff and management to improve customer satisfaction and internal operations.
  • Document all provider concerns in applicable systems and work cross-functionally to resolve identified issues.
  • Prepare and review analysis to assist in evaluating provider performance.
  • Support recruitment and contracting efforts by building strong interpersonal relationships with providers.
  • Travel regularly to conduct Health Partner visits and community-based visits to ensure effective program administration.
  • Perform duties required to meet CareSource and Affiliate Companies’ contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Perform additional job duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • One to three (1–3) years of experience in the healthcare industry, account management, or sales (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Cactus or similar systems.
  • Understanding of reimbursement methodologies, including capitation, per diems, and discounts.
  • Strong customer service, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate intermediate negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, along with marketing competencies.
  • Valid driver’s license, car, and insurance for work-related travel (employment conditional on successful clearance of a driver’s license record check).
  • Annual Influenza vaccination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment.
  • Must reside in the assigned territory; exceptions may be considered based on business need.
  • Flexible hours, including possible evenings and/or weekends, to meet member needs.

Pay

$49,050.00 – $78,570.00 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of education, training, experience, job scope, discretion required, and external/internal data. Eligibility for a performance-based bonus may apply.
