Job Responsibilities
- Represent Goddard Health Center at campus outreach events, health fairs, tabling events, and university programs.
- Facilitate engaging presentations and workshops on health and wellness topics for student organizations, residence halls, classrooms, and campus departments.
- Educate students about the healthcare services available at Goddard Health Center, including: Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, X-Ray, Health Outreach programs, Tobacco and Nicotine Cessation, InBody Assessments, Other wellness resources.
- Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors related to: Nutrition, Physical activity, Sleep, Stress management, Mental wellness, Illness prevention, Preventive care, Healthy habits for college students.
- Assist with planning, promoting, and implementing campus health promotion initiatives and special events.
- Develop educational materials, social media content, and promotional campaigns that support Health Outreach programming.
- Serve as a positive role model and trusted peer resource for fellow students.
- Refer students to appropriate campus and community resources when needed.
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and staff meetings.
- Complete administrative tasks including event preparation, attendance tracking, and program evaluation.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Required Education And Experience
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Good academic and disciplinary standing with the University.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups or willing to develop presentation skills.
- Dependable, organized, and responsible.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for helping fellow students improve their health and well-being.
Required Certifications And Licenses
- None
Department Preferences
- Interest in health promotion, public health, healthcare, education, wellness, or related fields.
- Previous leadership, volunteer, peer education, or customer service experience.
- Experience with public speaking, event planning, social media, or graphic design is a plus.
- Familiarity with campus resources and student organizations.
