Health Nurse

Role: Co-worker Health Nurse, responsible for providing health services to employees, supporting wellness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Duties Serve as the primary health resource for co-workers from onboarding through employment.Plan, organize, and oversee Co-worker Health Services in accordance with federal and state regulations.Conduct health assessments for new hires, including screenings, medical history reviews, lab work, chest x-rays, and immunizations.Manage TB screening programs, respirator fit testing, and vaccination initiatives.Provide first aid and follow-up care for workplace injuries, supporting recovery and return-to-work processes.Potentially serve as Workers' Compensation coordinator, managing injury documentation and treatment coordination.Maintain confidentiality of health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Prepare reports to support regulatory compliance and participate in wellness and safety committees.Stay informed on health trends and update policies accordingly, upholding the organization’s mission and values. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN).Current Missouri nursing license (LPN or RN).Minimum of 2 years of hospital or clinical experience.BLS certification required.
