Health Litigation Associate

About the role

The Health & Senior Care Section at Hanson Bridgett is seeking a health litigation associate with 3-6 years of experience. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of litigation experience, including substantial exposure to law and motion practice, written discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation. Prior experience representing health care providers or direct trial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct complex litigation matters from inception through trial
• Prepare and present motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare and review discovery materials
• Prepare and present witnesses in depositions
• Participate in mediations and other alternative dispute resolution processes
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of cases for trial
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies

Requirements

• At least three years of litigation experience, including substantial exposure to law and motion practice, written discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation
• Prior experience representing health care providers or direct trial experience is preferred but not required

Pay

The annual base compensation range for this California position is approximately $205,000 to $255,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.

This is a hybrid position based out of any of our California offices: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Rafael, Walnut Creek, San Diego, and Fresno.
