Health Information Technology Specialist West
About the role
We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for Health Information Technology Specialists to support an IQVIA pharmaceutical client partnership. This individual will have the unique opportunity to be a part of multiple cardiovascular brands in the US market as a Health Information Technology Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Support integration of the brand into EHR systems across priority accounts, helping identify and address barriers that affect patient care, access, treatment processes, patient identification, and overall end-user experience
- Share Electronic Health Record insights to enhance patient care and support population health approaches across both in-patient and outpatient sites of care at priority accounts
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer specific plans, as well as work in a collaborative manner with Account Management, Medical and Cross functional account teams
- Support healthcare stakeholders including end users, clinicians, informatics, Quality, Population Health and IT teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Minimum of 4 years working in design, build, and/or testing expertise and experience with EHR software, including: Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson preferred; and/or within a Health System informatics group or team at leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company.
- In depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology, and software build, and/or optimization techniques
- Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a matrix environment
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexibility
Qualifications
- Preferred Master’s degree
- Clinical IT experience, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics
- Pharmaceutical or Life Science Health IT Specialist experience
- B2B or software sales experience
Benefits
The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
Pay
The potential base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000 annually.
Schedule
Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
