Responsibilities
- Work within Patient Information Forum (PIF) accredited health information production and review processes.
- Write, edit, and review health information for public audiences, ensuring clarity and accuracy using Plain English principles.
- Communicate complex health information clearly and accurately, collaborating with healthcare professionals to support review and sign-off of content.
- Adapt tone and style for different audiences, formats, and channels, managing digital content using a Content Management System and writing for digital audiences.
- Apply search engine optimization practices to health information content, ensuring it is accessible and inclusive.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with colleagues, clinicians, and people with lived experience.
- Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and inclusive, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in health information.
Requirements

Pay
Salary range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Schedule
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
Hybrid working model, with around 40% of working time expected to be spent in office spaces or working in community settings.
Occasional travel to other Arthritis UK offices (approximately quarterly).
