Employer paid benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision. Wage Compensation ranges from $90,434.90 to $164,974.15 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Change champions for all new implementations and enhancements to clinical workflows.
  • Facilitate communication with operations to analyze and convert end-user feedback into optimized and effective solutions.
  • Serve as the escalation of contact between operations and support teams to resolve issues or provide status updates.
  • Cook up projects ensuring that implementations adhere to deadlines with high quality.
  • Provide technical assistance to users to address issues, and report system needs promptly to the applicable team.
  • Problem-solve application issues and work through challenges to achieve optimal results by collaborating effectively with end users, leadership, and IT.
  • Identifies issues and decision points in system design, operational workflow, system implementation, and support.
  • Participates in system and integration testing phases of system module functionality.
  • Provides daily at-the-elbow support to facilitate and promote end user adoption of order entry and documentation within the electronic system.
  • Supports, monitors, and evaluates staff documentation tools and processes.
  • Works collaboratively with Epic Trainers in the development, coordination and implementation of user training and support strategies.
  • Documents issues, options, resolutions, communications, testing, and problem identification utilizing established formats.
  • Develops and maintains organized documentation and shares information with team members.
  • Maintains regulatory compliance by staying abreast of current trends and regulations in the IT and Healthcare industries.

Qualifications

  • Education Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred.
  • Licenses/certifications/registrations Required: Current RN Oregon licensure. Epic proficiency required within six months of hire. Certification in Nursing Informatics (e.g., through HIMSS or ANCC) preferred.
  • Experience Required: A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in a healthcare system. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing and/or supporting Epic applications. Experience with Epic EHR system. Experience in nursing informatics or clinical informatics position preferred.
  • Other: Able to work across both Inpatient and Ambulatory settings, Primary Care and Specialty. Prior Epic or other clinical information system design/build/implementation experience preferred. Ability to lead small projects and work with staff with different skills sets and backgrounds. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Detail oriented, organized and highly motivated. Positive attitude, great teamwork mindset, and a willingness to assist wherever needed. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and stay organized. Ability to work under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, or lifting light office items (up to 25 pounds).
  • Visual acuity to view computer screens and read detailed financial documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • May be required to move throughout the healthcare facility, including administrative and clinical areas.

Working Conditions

  • This position operates in a professional office setting within a healthcare facility.
  • The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • The office environment is climate-controlled, well-lit, and ergonomically designed for extended computer work.
  • While this role is primarily office-based and does not involve direct patient care, the employee may occasionally be present in clinical areas or interact with staff working in clinical environments.
  • The organization provides appropriate training and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed to ensure safety.
