HEALTH/HUMAN SERVICES PROFESSIONAL TRAINEE - UNDERFILL
About the role
The Division of Child and Family Services is recruiting for a Health/Human Services Professional Trainee, underfilling for a Psychiatric Caseworker 2, with the Wraparound in Nevada (WIN) Program in Elko. Wraparound in Nevada (WIN) is a community-based program that provides intensive tiered care coordination/targeted case management to children/youth with serious emotional disturbances who have complex needs across multiple domains.
Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor plans of care
- Collaborate with community service providers
- Partner with youth and their families to develop and facilitate child and family team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, early childhood development, psychology, public health, special education, nursing, or other discipline directly related to the field in which the applicant is to be trained
- Two years of journey level technical or paraprofessional experience in the field in which the applicant is to be trained

Skills
Working knowledge of: problem solving techniques; research techniques; basic mathematics.
