About the role
The Public Consulting Group (PCG) Health team assists clients in navigating the complex financial, regulatory, and operational challenges of the evolving healthcare landscape. This includes enhancing health and public safety services, claims processing, consulting, and advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and becomes an expert in improving service and operational efficiencies.
- Evaluates programs and provides recommendations for enhancements.
- Analyzes and interprets federal and state laws and regulations.
- Affords technical assistance to clients and manages small projects.
- Facilitates client discussions and delegates tasks to team members.
- Participates in sales motions related to the practice.
- Leads proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
- Prepares written reports and materials for clients.
Requirements
- Understanding of both the service delivery systems for programs administered by states and monitored by federal regulators.
- Expertise in complex federal regulations and requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office applications skills, particularly in data analytics (ACCESS, SQL, SPSS).
- Sound judgment and ability to seek guidance when needed.
- Attention to detail and capability to handle large data sets accurately.
- Ability to manage projects within timelines and budgets.
- Commitment to exceptional client service.
- Creative problem-solving ability and consultancy mindset.
- Dedication to achieving client goals and challenges.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience required, with a Master’s degree (MPA or government-focused MBA) preferred.
- Supervisory responsibility for Business Analysts.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience. A range of benefits is offered, including medical and dental care, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave. The base salary range for this role is $70,100 - $85,000.
