Health Coach

About the role

The Health Coach’s purpose is to educate and communicate with Electronic Caregiver clients and properly communicate with patients regarding their needs, issues, and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ lifestyles
• Address health concerns
• Work with patients to make behavioral, nutritional, and other changes to promote better health and wellness
• Create positive interactions and demonstrate patience and politeness
• Perform work under immediate supervision while exercising good judgment and discretion within established procedures, including HIPAA compliance

Requirements

CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification preferred.

• Proficient typing skills
• General knowledge of healthcare practices, patient care, and healthcare terminology (preferably gained through experience as a CMA, PCT, or similar healthcare role)
