About the role
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking a Medicaid Fraud Intake Officer to handle incoming complaints of Medicaid provider fraud, patient abuse and neglect, and related crimes.
Responsibilities
- Receives incoming complaints of Medicaid provider fraud, patient abuse and neglect, the misappropriation of care facility resident funds/property, and related crimes, via telephone, mail, electronic mail, and website
- Provides information and assistance to consumers, government officials, law enforcement agencies, and the general public
- Collects preliminary data regarding complaints, and resolves, refers, or memorializes complaints
- Performs preliminary research and data analysis regarding complaints
- Corresponds with regulatory, administrative and law enforcement agencies
- May serve as an Evidence Custodian
- Performs related clerical tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in criminology, criminal justice, computer science, accounting, finance, or related field

Benefits
This position works a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarters location is our Columbus Office.
Pay
$25.36/hr - $32.26/hr
