Health Care Director
Job Highlights
We are seeking an outstanding individual to lead the nursing team as a Health Care Director. You will spearhead clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.
Responsibilities
- Making sure medication management is monitored
- Conducting resident assessments
- Providing leadership and guidance on health issues
- Offering onsite medical care
- Communicating changing medical needs to the team and family members
- Championing high quality and infection control
- Verifying physician orders
- Communicating move-in/move-out information
- Supervising the ordering, delivery, transcription, and documentation of medication, treatments, and orders under your authority.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN nursing license in the state
- Previous supervisory experience which includes management, coaching, and health care services
- Able to read, speak, and write English clearly
Qualifications
Preferred: Prior experience in supervising direct care staff
