About the role

Thompson Coburn LLP’s corporate health care practice area is seeking an associate or counsel. The position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate transactions and regulatory matters for health care organizations, including health care systems, hospitals, health insurance companies, long term care providers, physician practices and other health care-related businesses.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide variety of corporate transactions and regulatory matters for health care organizations, including health care systems, hospitals, health insurance companies, long term care providers, physician practices and other health care-related businesses.
• Have 5+ years of experience working on regulatory and corporate transactional matters in the health care industry and an in-depth understanding of fraud and abuse, Stark, Medicare reimbursement, hospital-physician relationships, provider-payor relationships and HIPAA.
• Show strong writing, communication, and client service skills.
• This position is also open to part-time candidates.

Requirements

• All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience working on regulatory and corporate transactional matters in the health care industry and an in-depth understanding of fraud and abuse, Stark, Medicare reimbursement, hospital-physician relationships, provider-payor relationships and HIPAA.
