Health Care Assistant Part time hours

Location: Hull, HU3

Contract type: Various shifts available, including 8:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–8:00 pm, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, 4:00 pm–12:00 am.

Rate: £12.81 on completion of Exemplar Care Certificate.

About the role

Health Care Assistants support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. No two days are the same, and you will help residents with personal care, meals, social activities, and maintaining dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Support people with their personal care.
• Assist people at meal times.
• Understand individual health and wellbeing needs.
• Encourage and support participation in social activities, both in and out of the home.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
• Complete and maintain care records.

Requirements

• Relevant experience and qualifications are valued but not essential.

Pay

£12.81 per hour, payable on completion of the Exemplar Care Certificate.
