Health Care Aide

The Opportunity
As a Health Care Aide at Shepherd’s Care, you will:

• Support, advocate, and provide choice to residents and their families.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, meal service, and mobility/transfers.

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Be registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA).
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in health care settings.
• Knowledge of aging-related issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule:

The hourly rate of pay is $21.08 - $26.42, based on experience.
