Responsibilities
Own and implement the site's Health & Safety Management System in line with OSHA and company standards
Lead safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
Embed a 'Safety First' culture across the site through training, communications, and day-to-day leadership
Chair the monthly Safety Committee and provide performance reporting to the Group COO
Manage all facilities operations — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, and planned maintenance schedules
Lead vendor and contractor relationships across janitorial, waste, pest control, and maintenance services
Manage the relationship with our property management company and landlord representatives
Lead minor construction and refurbishment projects with minimal disruption to live operations
Develop and manage the annual safety and facilities budget
Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles where applicable
Requirements
5+ years' experience in a Health, Safety & Facilities role within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
Proven experience managing large-scale facilities — 150,000 sq ft or more preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, contractors, and service partners
Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred)
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent (preferred)
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Exposure to Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma environments is a plus
