Health Actuary Analyst

Join Deloitte's Human Capital practice as an Actuarial Analyst and help clients address complex challenges across the health care ecosystem. Support strategic and technical consulting engagements for health plans, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, and federal and state government clients. Responsibilities

• Support strategic and technical consulting engagements for health plans and insurance organizations, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, and federal and state government clients
• Build actuarial, financial, and mathematical models that inform business performance and support client decision-making
• Analyze and interpret large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk and assess complex business issues
• Contribute to project delivery through analysis, client-ready materials, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across industries, disciplines, and geographies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Passage of 1 actuarial exam
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred)

Pay

The wage range for this role is $74,900 to $147,600. The range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, where an award depends on individual and organizational performance.
