Head: Transformation
What You Will Do
- Define and lead RMA’s transformation strategy aligned to enterprise and business strategy
- Integrate transformation into organisational priorities, operating model, and value chain
- Provide thought leadership on transformation trends within insurance and social protection sectors
- Lead large-scale change initiatives (TOM, restructuring, capability shifts)
- Drive organisational design, effectiveness, and workforce alignment
- Ensure transformation initiatives enable business performance and customer impact
- Embed a high-performance, values-driven, and inclusive culture
- Partner with leadership to build transformation capability and accountability
- Align leadership behaviour with RMA’s purpose and social mandate
- Establish governance frameworks to track transformation progress and impact
- Develop and report on transformation KPIs (including B-BBEE, skills development, diversity)
- Provide regular updates to EXCO and Board
- Drive workforce transformation strategies (skills, talent pipelines, leadership capability)
- Align capability development with future business needs and strategic priorities
- Partner with HR and Learning teams to embed transformation into talent practices
- Influence EXCO, business leaders, and external stakeholders on transformation priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor on transformation risks, opportunities, and regulatory expectations
- Influence external bodies to strengthen RMA’s positioning as a responsible social insurer
- Enable initiatives that deliver meaningful societal impact aligned to RMA’s mandate
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation
- Ensure transformation strategies support sustainable business and community outcomes
