Head Teller

Position Scope To develop a team spirit among branch personnel and instill pride and value in the UMB environment. To direct activities of branch personnel in the handling of operational issues. Act as a liaison between branch personnel, Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to Perform The Essential Functions. **ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Provide first-rate customer service Ordering and shipping branch money Balance cash within established guidelines Sell and buy money from tellers Build team spirit Ensure branch operational and compliance-related tasks are completed Open/close branch and all vaults Provide facilities management to ensure cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of branch and grounds. Supervise branch personnel to ensure accuracy and compliance Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management as this is not a complete description of all the work requirements related to this job. Assist with ATM cash replenishment. **QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS** Ability to lift/move/carry 40 pounds is required to perform the essential job Functions Good organizational skills High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service and communication skills One year of teller experience Work flexible hours, which includes hours between 7am to 6pm Monday-Friday Benefits At UMB, we are always looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
