Head Teller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Guide members through complex transactions with confidence, knowledge, and accuracy
• Desire to build relationships with businesses and individual customers
• Develop skills in all types of branch transactions including, but not limited to, night deposits, ATM balancing, and more in-depth system knowledge
• Balance cash drawers and prepare teller sheets
• Use computer system to verify customer account status
• Develop knowledge regarding bank products and services
• Promote bank services
• Receive payment on all types of loans
• Greet customers and receive or handle deposits of all types
• Handle proportionate volume of work based on branch demands
• Perform basic client service maintenance (account reconciliation, address changes, stop payments, account transfers, processing check orders)
• Follow policies and procedures to minimize risk

Qualifications

• Desire to work closely with customers to help them succeed and reach their financial goals
• Manage traffic flow in an efficient manner
• Prior retail experience is a definite plus
