Head Teller

General Job Responsibilities

• Handle Teller technical training
• Ensure tellers are updated on policy changes
• Schedule Tellers
• Work with Tellers to resolve problems
• Ensure proper handling of financial transactions
• Monitor and oversee teller financial transactions and balancing
• Ensure security of customer information
• Follow bank protocols for security and adhere to all federal and state laws and requirements in financial reporting
• Serve customers at teller windows inside the bank, at the drive-thru, and on the telephone
• Willingness to be a team player and have a pleasant customer service attitude

Education and Experience

• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required, some college or post graduate technical training preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of two years’ work experience in an area requiring customer service skills, OR a minimum of one year’s work experience as a bank teller. Education may be substituted for experience.
