Responsibilities

  • Protect the physical and mental health and safety of our children.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences in various subjects.
  • Support parents and families in their child’s development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and professionals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, and completion of CDA or equivalent.
  • Enrolled in a program leading to an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or enrolled in a CDA credential program within two years.
  • Two years of experience in a preschool classroom setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Complete and pass health examination.
  • Confirm work eligibility status.
  • Pass driving history check.
  • Clear criminal background check.

Qualifications

  • Ability to respond sensitively and competently to diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of INK policies and procedures.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
