About the role
The Head Start Program Instructor supports the instructional process by teaching and supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas. They develop lesson plans and deliver both group and individual instruction according to established curriculum guidelines. They collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators on instructional and classroom issues. They also respond to inquiries from students' parents or guardians about the instructional program and student progress.

Requirements
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Bachelor's Degree & PDE Early Childhood Certification preferred.
- Experience with pre-school population desired.
- Knowledge in Early Literacy.
- Able to work with a culturally diverse population.
- Able to work at centers within Delaware County.
- Able to work within a team concept.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to frequently lift twenty pounds.
- Basic computer skills.
