Head Start Family Service Advocate

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate of Arts Degree in Human Services
• One Year of human services experience
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
• Working knowledge of principles of family functioning, child development, and dynamics concerning child abuse
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers and other professionals
• Experience working with Native American preschool children and their families
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards
• Montana Drivers license, clean driving record and access to vehicle
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid training upon employment
• Must obtain physical and TB test upon employment

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in social work, community service or related field
• Two or more years of human service experience
