About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Development Specialist to support Head Start families in achieving their goals and accessing community resources that promote self-sufficiency and family well-being.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with families
- Conduct needs assessments
- Develop family partnership goals
- Collaborate with staff and community partners to provide comprehensive support services
- Coordinate referrals
- Encourage parent engagement
Requirements
- Experience working with children and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A degree or background in social work, human services, early childhood education, or a related field
