Head Start Education Supervisor

About the role

Kansas Children’s Service League is hiring a full-time Head Start Education Supervisor in Garden City, Kansas. This position offers a competitive annual salary of $50,0000 and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular supervision and meetings with staff.
• Complete performance reviews for each staff member supervised.
• Provide support and guidance to all assigned staff with their daily job responsibilities.
• Conduct frequent monitoring tasks to provide input and feedback accordingly to staff, management, and leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSPPS and KDHE Licensing Regulations.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education OR Advanced degree with equivalent coursework in early childhood education and early education teaching experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience with Head Start preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work towards the completion of a bachelor’s degree.
• Active CDA with 3 years of Head Start Experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong supervisory and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Head Start program requirements and regulations.
