Responsibilities
- Facilitate age-appropriate learning activities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor and manage student behavior
- Collaborate with families to support child development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field
- Valid state teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience working with children ages 3-5
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Passing background check
- First aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of Head Start program standards and practices
