Head-Royce School is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic educators to join our substitute teacher list. Opportunities exist to sub in all departments and divisions. Responsibilities

• Meet with Divisions representatives or Department Chair to be screened.
• Complete onboarding process including livescan, TB, and SB848 clearance.
• Coordinate with the lead teacher regarding expectations and duties when called to sub.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing expectations and procedures.
• Demonstrate student-centered, organized lesson delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Advanced degrees/certification are desirable.
• 2 years teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Flexible and responsive.

Pay

• $75 for one period
• $150 for two periods
• $300 for full day
