About the role

We're hiring underwriters, engineers, scientists, and operators to make the most exposed homes in the country insurable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement underwriting strategies to assess risk and determine insurance coverage levels.
• Conduct thorough investigations and analyses to ensure accurate risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and mitigate risks associated with high-risk properties.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to inform underwriting practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams to ensure compliance and effective risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, or business.
• At least 3 years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience with risk management software and tools.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
