We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually "Your Role" is a heading. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content: "Who We Are" maybe not needed? The instruction: Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. We need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have "Who We Are" description about company. Could be considered "About the role"? Actually "Who We Are" is about company, not role. Could be a section like "About the Company". But allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Not "About the Company". So maybe we incorporate that into a

before sections? The instruction: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., not exclusive list? Probably we should stick to those headings. So we can have sections: About the role (maybe from "Your Role"), Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities), Requirements (maybe Qualifications?), Qualifications (maybe same as Requirements?), Skills (maybe not explicit), Benefits (How We Take Care of You). Pay and Schedule only if present: we have Competitive Salary & Stock Options (Pay) and maybe no schedule. So we can include Pay section with that info. Schedule not present, so omit. We must not create sections with filler. So we need to ensure each heading has substantive content. Let's map: - About the role: from "Your Role: The Head of Tax will report directly to the Global Controller..." That's substantive. - Responsibilities: list of Key Responsibilities bullet points. - Requirements: maybe from Qualifications? But Qualifications also present. Could combine? But we need separate sections if content exists. We have both "Qualifications" heading in posting. So we can have Requirements (maybe experience) and Qualifications (education/certifications). However the posting lumps them together under "Qualifications". It includes both education and experience. To avoid duplication, we could treat "Requirements" as the experience bullet points, and "Qualifications" as education/certifications. But we need to ensure not to split arbitrarily causing thin sections. Let's see: The Qualifications section includes: Bachelor’s degree ...; CPA and/or Master’s ... strongly preferred; 8-10+ years of relevant tax experience ...; Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation ...; etc. That's a mix of education, experience, knowledge, skills. Could be considered Requirements. Since we also have a separate "Skills" heading possible but not explicit. Might be better to have just one section: Responsibilities and Qualifications (covering requirements). But the instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. That's 5 sections. We need to omit Skills if not explicit. Pay we have Competitive Salary & Stock Options. Benefits we have Health Benefits, New Hire Home-Office Setup, Monthly Stipend. We must not include boilerplate like equal opportunity etc. We need to preserve all substantive information: include details like "One-time USD $500", "USD $150 per month via a Brex Card". Also include "Competitive Salary & Stock Options". Also include "Health Benefits". Also include details about reporting to Global Controller, etc. We need to format lists with

    About the role

The Head of Tax will report directly to the Global Controller and lead the company’s global tax function. This role will own tax strategy, governance, compliance, reporting, and planning across a growing multinational organization. The Head of Tax will serve as the company’s primary tax subject-matter expert, partnering closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Product, and business leaders to ensure tax considerations are thoughtfully incorporated into new products, international expansion, transactions, and broader business decisions. This individual will also be responsible for developing scalable tax processes and controls that support the company’s continued growth and future public-company readiness.

    Responsibilities

    • Own the company’s global tax function, including tax strategy, governance, risk management, compliance, reporting, and planning.
    • Manage U.S. federal, state, and international income tax compliance, including foreign reporting requirements and coordination of local-country filings.
    • Oversee indirect tax and withholding obligations, including sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and cross-border withholding taxes.
    • Own the annual and interim tax provision under U.S. GAAP and ASC 740, including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and related financial statement disclosures.
    • Develop and maintain a global tax compliance calendar, internal controls, policies, and supporting documentation appropriate for a scaling, audit-ready organization.
    • Lead tax planning related to legal entity structuring, capitalization, intercompany arrangements, repatriation, and expansion into new markets.
    • Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, documentation, and implementation across the company’s international entities.
    • Assess permanent establishment, nexus, tax residency, and other risks arising from the company’s global operations and workforce.
    • Partner with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Product, and business operations teams to provide tax guidance on contracts, new products, regulated financial-services activities, and operational decisions.
    • Support M&A tax due diligence, transaction structuring, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
    • Manage tax authority inquiries, examinations, notices, and disputes, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate remediation.
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and communicate their potential financial, operational, and strategic impact to leadership.
    • Lead tax forecasting and cash-tax planning in coordination with FP&A and Treasury.
    • Oversee tax residency certificates, treaty-relief documentation, and related filings, including Forms 8802 and 6166.
    • Manage external tax advisors, including scope, budget, deliverables, and service quality, while developing scalable internal tax capabilities.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve tax efficiency, controls, data quality, processes, and automation.
    • Build and develop the internal tax function as the company’s needs and global footprint continue to expand.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
    • 8‑10+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally combining public accounting and in‑house corporate tax experience.
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation, with meaningful experience managing international tax matters and foreign entity compliance.
    • Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and demonstrated experience owning the tax provision process, including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and financial statement disclosures.
    • Experience overseeing tax matters across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
    • Experience with transfer pricing, intercompany arrangements, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and international expansion.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable tax policies, processes, and internal controls.
    • Experience managing external tax advisors, audits, tax authority matters, and competing filing deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and project‑management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple complex workstreams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to non‑tax stakeholders and senior leadership.
    • A hands‑on, collaborative approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
    • Experience within a multinational fintech, financial‑services, brokerage, or digital‑assets business is strongly preferred.
    • Experience supporting M&A transactions and post‑acquisition integration is preferred.
    • Public‑company, pre‑IPO, or SOX‑readiness experience is a plus.

    Benefits

    • Competitive Salary & Stock Options
    • Health Benefits
    • New Hire Home‑Office Setup: One‑time USD $500
    • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card
We should not include Pay separate because we already included Competitive Salary & Stock Options in Benefits. But the instruction says include Pay section only if posting actually states them. It does state Competitive Salary & Stock Options. Could make a Pay section with that line, and Benefits separate for other benefits. However we risk duplication. Better to follow instruction: include Pay section if posting states them. It does state Competitive Salary & Stock Options. So we should have a Pay section with that line. Benefits section for Health Benefits, Home-Office Setup, Monthly Stipend. Thus:

    Pay

    Competitive Salary & Stock Options

    Benefits

    • Health Benefits
    • New Hire Home‑Office Setup: One‑time USD $500
    • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card
We should not include Schedule. Now ensure we didn't repeat job title. Good. Check for any boilerplate: we removed "Who We Are" etc. Did we lose any substantive info? The "Who We Are" paragraph about Alpaca is company description; not required per headings but could be considered "About the role"? Not exactly. The instruction says we can include only sections with real specific content; we could incorporate that as a

before sections maybe as a general description. But the instruction says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use those for section headings. It might be okay to include a brief intro paragraph without heading. However we must preserve ALL substantive information. The "Who We Are" paragraph is substantive about company. Should we include it? The instruction says "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we should include that info somewhere. Could add a

before the first heading describing the company. That seems acceptable. Thus output:
