Head of Revenue/Commercial, SciY/ZONTAL
About the role
We are seeking a driven, field-oriented commercial leader to own the number end-to-end and drive net new business (NOB) while building a repeatable revenue engine. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, revenue-first role focused on setting the pace, winning key accounts, and scaling the team and partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Win business personally (player/coach): Lead from the front, personally run strategic pursuits, and build a win plan approach. Hire, develop, and manage a team of hunters and solutions/SE resources.
Build a High-performance Sales Org: Establish a clear sales methodology, qualification standards, and rigorous deal inspection. Set compensation, territories, and performance management with high standards and urgency.
Coach and drive the team through complex sales. Create Repeatable Pipeline Generation: Define ICP and target segments, build a pipeline machine, and align with marketing for message and campaigns.
Scale Partners and Ecosystem: Build partner routes to market, create simple partner rules, and establish a global KAM discipline. Commercial Operating System: Implement weekly forecast calls, monthly business reviews, CRM discipline, and track KPIs.
Drive Geographic Expansion: Build the commercial playbook for new territories, evaluate regional market potential, and define market entry models. Expand Channel Coverage: Execute a channel strategy, align with Bruker ecosystem, and ensure clear partner criteria.
Drive Growth Through New Customer Acquisition: Build and execute a scalable new-customer acquisition motion, lead strategic first-land deals, and ensure rapid, repeatable expansion across additional teams and workflows.
Qualifications
Minimum 15+ years work experience in B2B enterprise software sales, with at least 5–8 recent years work experience leading teams.
Demonstrated success as an NOB hunter who has personally closed complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals (ideally platform/data/regulated markets).
Proven successful track record and comfortable in technical/value-based selling: can hold their own with IT, data, and science stakeholders—and with the CFO/procurement.
Demonstrated ability to build a commercial engine in a growth stage/scale-up context (not only large public-company environments).
Operates with a very high standard of ethics, integrity, communication, personal presentation, and professionalism.

Base salary range: $187,650.00 - $333,500.00
