  • Driving cross-functional collaboration by aligning stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, and senior leadership
  • Establishing internal governance processes and tracking systems to manage regulatory deliverables at scale
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY REGULATORY STAKEHOLDERS, LEVERAGING EXISTING NETWORKS WHERE POSSIBLE

  • ACTING AS A GATEKEEPER FOR REGULATORY COMMUNICATIONS, ENSURING CLARITY, ACCURACY, AND ALIGNMENT WITH REGULATORY EXPECTATIONS
  • EMBEDDING A POSITIVE REGULATORY MINDSET ACROSS THE ORGANISATION, INFORMED BY FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE WITHIN REGULATORY BODIES

What you'll need

  • A solid understanding of how US regulators operate, including supervisory processes, licensing expectations, and internal decision-making dynamics
  • Expertise in engaging with regulators and senior stakeholders in DC on high-stakes matters (e.g., license applications, supervisory reviews, ongoing examinations)
  • A proven ability to manage complex, high-volume regulatory workflows and coordinate responses across multiple stakeholders
  • Impressive project management skills to bring structure, prioritization, and oversight to regulatory programs
  • An established network within at least one key US regulatory body, with the credibility to build further relationships
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience building or scaling teams
  • The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with evolving priorities

Nice to have

  • Experience working on a de novo bank license in the US
  • Experience in fintech, digital banking, or high-growth financial services environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory engagement tooling and tracking systems
