Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a qualified and motivated team focused on empowerment, sustainable personal growth and independent activation of their potential in an agile, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Direct the applied research approach within research and development and prioritize according to impact and innovation relevance
- Build and maintain a solid and diverse knowledge and science-based network together with your teams and subject matter experts
- Manage and monitor research and development programs based on a systematic assessment of their potential for the business, seamlessly aligned across business units, market segments and sales
- Engage and interact with customers, suppliers, research partners and start-ups to be continuously informed about their needs, challenges and business orientation and proactively build a strong external network
- Design the innovation strategy in close collaboration with the business units and transform it into profitable and value-adding products
- Design competitive and innovative B2B solutions with proven application relevance
- Drive and enable internal and external change to cover and respond to an agile environment
- Promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences within the Doehler Group in order to improve technical skills and take them to the next level
- Ensure a timeline and quality respecting LTO Process with TeamExchange with Head of Sales regarding DO’s | Customers | Claims | Market | Business relevant Topics
- Exchange with Market Segment and Sales regarding Portfolio
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD
- At least 8 years of professional experience in research and development department, preferably in the ingredients or flavors industry
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a management position
Skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage change and multiple priorities in a dynamic and ever-changing surrounding
- Travel expectations less than 20%
