Head of Product Marketing
About the role
LawVu is transforming the legal industry by providing the world’s leading and most loved platform for in-house legal teams. We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to join our core marketing team. As Head of Product Marketing, you will plan, implement, and manage our overall product and services marketing strategy, including messaging, packaging, and sales enablement to support go-to-market efforts. You will also lead the development of LawVu Engage in tight collaboration with the product team, conducting market research and feature validation.
The ideal candidate is a strong product or integrated marketer with experience working closely with customers, sales, and product teams. This is a hands-on role demanding speed, top-quality work, relentless prioritization, and creativity to try new things.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the in-house and legal operations landscape through qualitative and quantitative research on customers, market, and competitors; share regular findings with executive, sales, and marketing teams.
- Contribute to the definition and development of new category messaging and communicate differentiation to compete effectively in the market.
- Differentiate customer value propositions based on firmographics and personas.
- Work directly with sales to improve product positioning through pitch development, demo talk tracks, and sales collateral, including ongoing sales awareness and education of feature releases.
- Develop relevant product positioning and prospect-facing content with the marketing team to support growth campaigns.
- Assist product leadership with roadmap development based on market input, competitive knowledge, and sales/client feedback.
- Develop a consistent process for introducing new products, features, and add-ons to customers.
- Manage the analyst program, keeping Gartner, IDC, and others informed of new developments.
- Maintain an externally facing roadmap.
- Leverage market, customer, and competitive knowledge to help shape pricing strategy.
- Conduct customer validations, market research, and message testing to shape the LawVu Engage product roadmap.
- Assist the CMO and broader executive team with annual planning.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant B2B experience, including product marketing, marketing, product management, monetization, market research, operational roles, or strategy consulting.
- 2+ years of experience managing individual contributors.
Skills
- Experience in B2B SaaS with a focus in product marketing (preferred).
- Experience in business strategy, consulting, monetization, and/or go-to-market (a plus).
- Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to drive projects from ideas through execution, build strong internal relationships, and foster consensus on critical initiatives.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing based on business impact.
- Persuasive communication and writing skills.
- Experience using customer, competitor, and market insights to shape business strategy, drive growth, and improve customer value.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internally focused and customer-facing teams.
