About the role

This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and define the company’s interoperability and policy strategy in collaboration with executive leadership
  • Establish and manage the company’s government affairs program to enhance credibility in the healthcare sector
  • Transition from reactive participation in standards bodies to proactive agenda shaping within key committees
  • Conduct detailed advocacy with governmental agencies, including drafting comment letters and engaging regulatory staff
  • Identify high-impact initiatives for driving interoperability improvements by collaborating with internal teams
  • Translate policy positions into clear, actionable text to influence the broader healthcare ecosystem
  • Build coalitions and support among various healthcare stakeholders including providers, payers, and tech companies

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in health policy, regulatory affairs, or standards work, especially at CMS, HHS, or related entities
  • Proven track record of driving policy changes and overcoming challenges from established stakeholders
  • Familiarity with HIPAA Administrative Simplification, X12 transaction sets, and CAQH CORE operating rules
  • Established network within the healthcare policy space with credibility among industry players
  • Strong writing skills for creating comment letters, proposals, and regulatory language
  • Ability to grasp technical details related to interoperability and healthcare data exchange

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually
