For our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, we are seeking a Head of Planning to lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
About the role
You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Forecast inventory at the style-color-size level weekly to meet performance indicators
- Collaborate with sourcing teams and vendors to enhance product availability
- Develop automated forecasting solutions in partnership with the technology team
- Conduct analytics and root-cause analysis for KPI enhancement
- Model vendor relationships and risk profiles with sourcing
- Create inventory and replenishment plans aligned with business strategies
- Present forecasts and updates to executives on a weekly basis
- Manage and mentor team members as planning function scales
Qualifications
- Senior Manager level or above - Director level preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in inventory planning or related analytics roles
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or Master's in Supply Chain Management preferred
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Fluent in Google Suite and comfortable with large data sets
- Experience in inventory optimization techniques and technology implementation
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners for risk minimization

$189,000 – $247,000 annually
