Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or customer engineering within a cloud computing, SaaS, or enterprise software environment
- 5 years of experience in managing customer-facing technical teams
- Experience in co-selling or partner-led business growth with ISVs, Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), or cloud marketplaces
- Experience in cloud architecture, including cloud infrastructure, security, application modernization, data analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), or development operations (DevOps) practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced technical degree or MBA
- Experience in influencing C-level executives or aligning cross-functional teams across different companies
- Experience navigating complex, three-way sales motions (i.e. Hyperscaler + Partner + Enterprise Buyer)
- Familiarity with Cloud Marketplace mechanics (e.g., listing, transacting, private offers, and architectural requirements)
- Existing relationships within the North American ISV, SI, and enterprise software ecosystem
About the Role
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
As the Head of Partner Engineering for North America, you will lead a high-performing team of Partner Solutions Architects dedicated to accelerating joint-business growth with the strategic Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners. This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of technical strategy, partner enablement, and enterprise sales execution. You will be responsible for defining the technical sell-with strategy for North America, ensuring that our strategic ISVs’ solutions are deeply integrated, highly optimized, and successfully co-sold alongside our enterprise field sales organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executive stakeholders both internally and across our partner ecosystem, driving complex, multi-party technical business cycles to closure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team of specialized Partner Engineers and Solutions Architects. Foster a culture of technical excellence, deep empathy for partners, with a focus on business outcomes
- Own the North American technical execution plan for our co-sell pipeline. Partner with the ISV Business Development and Field Sales leadership teams to align technical resources against the highest-impact business opportunities
- Guide a team in helping ISVs design, build, and deploy cloud-native architectures that leverage our platform's unique capabilities. Ensure joint solutions are enterprise-ready, secure, scalable, and clearly differentiated in the market
- Serve as the executive technical sponsor for high-value agreement pursuits. Unblock complex technical hurdles for partners and customers
- Scale team impact by creating repeatable frameworks, technical playbooks, blueprints, and proof-of-concept (PoC) templates that accelerate time-to-market for joint solutions

US: $233,000 - $324,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
