Head of North America ISV Marketing, North America Partner Marketing
About the role
The Head of North America ISV Marketing at AWS leads the organization responsible for both direct and partner marketing strategy, planning, and execution for independent software organizations (ISV) in the US and Canada. This role develops and executes strategic, data-driven marketing programs to, with, and through partners to drive demand and revenue, managing partner coverage, joint marketing plans, MDF planning, and approval processes. The role is responsible for both partner-led and AWS-led demand generation programs via targeted motions, like ABM and scale mechanisms.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience building, leading, and developing large, complex marketing teams that grow customer demand globally. The candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of the marketing mix, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and execute the North America ISV marketing plan including ABM (ISV as customer), integration into AWS-led demand generation, MDF planning, and partner-led demand generation.
- Develop, own, and execute the ABM plans to support partner growth strategies with customers.
- Hire and develop a team of NAMER ISV partner marketing professionals and ABM specialists that plan and deliver partner demand generation programs including integrated campaigns, digital marketing, and events.
- Partner closely with field and global marketing to ensure a unified marketing strategy across the Geo—specifically the development of account-based marketing programs and scale strategies with partners.
- Work closely with global partner and direct sales leaders to understand regional priorities and execute plans to drive opportunities and pipeline that support them.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with extended marketing teams (Digital Marketing, events, Field teams) to execute partner-led programs.
- Work with AWS Marketing teams to share best practices and ensure alignment across different marketing efforts.
- Set goals, measure, and report outcomes to internal business and external partner stakeholders.

Partner Marketing is a highly motivated global team that sits at the heart of how AWS grows with and through its partner ecosystem. Its purpose is straightforward: Partner Marketing expands AWS reach across customer segments by building joint marketing strategies and plans with priority partners. This role is within the NAMER Partner Marketing Team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video, and paid social.
- Experience leading across multiple locales.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is:
- USA, CA, Mountain View: $171,800.00 - $232,400.00 USD annually
- USA, CA, San Francisco: $171,800.00 - $232,400.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York: $171,800.00 - $232,400.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Austin: $156,100.00 - $211,200.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $156,100.00 - $211,200.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $156,100.00 - $211,200.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
