Head of Litigation & Legal Compliance

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Advise on litigation, dispute resolution, and compliance with strategic guidance
• Provide daily legal support and business-focused counseling across the organization
• Develop and maintain relationships with external law firms and consultants
• Collaborate with IT to optimize e-discovery systems and refine data retention policies
• Work alongside business leaders to manage compliance-related projects and investigations
• Lead internal projects and training to meet enterprise risk management objectives
• Manage the annual litigation and compliance budget for cost-effective oversight

Qualifications

• ~10+ years combined experience at a law firm and in-house in litigation and compliance
• Outstanding communication skills with a focus on simplifying complex issues
• J.D or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the United States
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and collaborating across functions

Pay

$216,000 – $297,000 annually
