Head of Infrastructure

About the Role

Aditude is seeking a Head of Infrastructure to lead and own infrastructure reliability, cost, DevOps, tooling, and network/system security across the company, including CPMStar, our SSP. This is a working leadership role, requiring a balance of strategic planning, team coaching, and hands-on technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Reliability: Own uptime, resilience, and incident response strategy across all Aditude products and CPMStar's SSP infrastructure. Lead resolution of critical infrastructure issues and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure in Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Cost: Manage infrastructure cost and capacity planning, identifying and executing cost-optimization initiatives as the company scales.
• DevOps: Establish and evolve CI/CD standards, drive deployment automation, and champion infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across the engineering organization.
• Tooling: Own the internal infrastructure/developer tooling roadmap, evaluate and introduce new tools to improve engineering velocity, and integrate AI coding agents into workflows.
• Security: Oversee network and system security, including Zero Trust architecture, access control, and compliance (e.g., SOC 2 readiness). Set and enforce security standards for infrastructure and deployments.
• Leadership: Coach the Senior Cloud Ops Engineer and build out the infrastructure team as the company grows. Partner with engineering and product leadership to align infrastructure with business priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of infrastructure/cloud ops experience, with 2+ years in a lead or management role.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.), scripting (Go, Python, TypeScript), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Experience with network and system security, including Zero Trust and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) to parallelize work while maintaining technical judgment.
• Ability to manage infrastructure cost and capacity at scale in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with experience translating technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with dedicated/bare-metal environments or ad tech infrastructure (SSP/DSP).
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, Clickhouse, or container security tools.
• Experience scaling an infrastructure function from a small team.
