Head of Information Security

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the company’s information security program and compliance frameworks
• Drive continuous control monitoring for audit alignment
• Translate complex compliance requirements into practical programs
• Evaluate and adopt AI-powered security tooling
• Collaborate with CTO and engineers to integrate security into product development
• Increase risk awareness among stakeholders without creating friction
• Lead and develop a global security team while being actively involved in technical work
• Establish clear incident response protocols and improve security posture

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security management, IT operations, compliance, or consulting
• 3+ years leading a security team with a focus on planning and monitoring resources
• Hands-on experience with audit frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA/GDPR
• Background in global B2B technology, especially SaaS or cloud businesses
• Prominent track record of managing security incidents end-to-end
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM security challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field

Pay

Compensation: $280,000 – $320,000 annually
