About the role

The Head of Generative AI owns the generative AI stack at MindAlter. Full responsibility for discovery, scaling, and maintenance. The pipeline runs because you make it run.

Responsibilities

  • Discovery: Know what's worth testing and what changes the game. Bring back the things that move the needle and ignore the rest.
  • Scaling: Decide how face consistency works across all characters, which models become the standard, and where custom tooling is needed. Build the stack that lets Character Owners ship without reinventing the wheel each time.
  • Maintenance: Troubleshoot issues, fix problems, and ensure the pipeline runs smoothly. Architect the stack when necessary.
  • Technical Ownership: No legacy infrastructure. No committees deciding which models to use. Own the architecture.

Requirements

  • Genuinely, unreasonably good at the generative AI stack. Know the models, pipelines, and tools inside out.
  • Frontier awareness: Read papers, follow the right people, and test new releases the day they drop.
  • Portfolio of 12+ characters to build for, with real production load.
  • Ai-native everything: Work with tools and techniques most engineers won't touch for another 3 years.
  • Remote: Work from wherever your setup is.
