Head of Fund Management

About the role

The Head of Fund Management oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a fund managed by Initio Capital. This includes managing the portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and communicating with investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the fund’s mandate and market conditions.
• Oversee the management of the fund’s portfolio, including making investment decisions and monitoring performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Communicate regularly with investors about the fund’s performance, strategy, and market outlook.
• Manage relationships with external partners such as advisors, custodians, and service providers.
• Contribute to the development and execution of marketing materials and presentations for the fund.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful fund management and investment decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex portfolios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience in the asset management industry, particularly in hedge funds or private equity.

Pay

$145,000 – $185,000 total annual compensation (varies by employer and fund performance).

Schedule
