About the role
The Head of Fund Management oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a fund managed by Initio Capital. This includes managing the portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and communicating with investors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the fund’s mandate and market conditions.
- Oversee the management of the fund’s portfolio, including making investment decisions and monitoring performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Communicate regularly with investors about the fund’s performance, strategy, and market outlook.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as advisors, custodians, and service providers.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing materials and presentations for the fund.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful fund management and investment decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex portfolios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in the asset management industry, particularly in hedge funds or private equity.
