About the role
Governs the strategic development of the relevant unit, develops the specific strategy guidelines and principles for the organization assigned.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual and multi-year strategic planning cycle, setting the foundation for the organization’s strategic vision.
- Manage portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and investment governance to optimize enterprise performance.
- Develop strategic deliverables for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), CEO, and Management Board (MB).
- Build insights that guide market, competitive, and clinical direction, anticipating industry shifts and policy changes.
- Drive cross-business line strategy alignment and prioritization, ensuring short-term actions connect to long-term value.
- Build and maintain enterprise dashboards and KPI scorecards to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Oversee strategy governance forums and maintain the enterprise operating rhythm.
- Coordinate Key Opinion Leader (KOL) meetings with business leads to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Strategic Leadership in enterprise planning, portfolio governance, and cross-functional alignment within MedTech, Oncology, Healthcare AI, or related high-tech sectors.
- The ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.
- A deep understanding of oncology ecosystems, clinical workflows, and digital/AI innovation trends shaping the future of radiation therapy.
- A strong analytical proficiency in market intelligence, competitive landscape assessment, financial modeling, forecasting, and KPI development.
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior executives, including preparation of materials for ELT, CEO, and Board audiences.
- Excellence in executive communication and strategic storytelling, with the ability to simplify complexity for decision-makers.
- Demonstrated capability leading strategy governance, operating rhythms, and enterprise-wide prioritization processes.
- Skills in driving transformation, building alignment across matrixed global teams, and reducing initiative redundancy.
Qualifications
- Advance degree, preferably in Business Administration (MBA), Health Economics, Healthcare Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- PhD or equivalent in a clinical, technical, or scientific domain is a plus.
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in strategy, corporate development, enterprise planning, or portfolio management within MedTech, Oncology, Healthcare Technology, or related sectors.
- Deep familiarity with the oncology ecosystem, including radiation therapy, clinical workflows, precision medicine, or health tech innovation.
- Experience with AI-driven healthcare solutions, digital ecosystems, clinical decision support, or data-enabled product strategies.
- Proven track record strategic planning cycles.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
