Head of Digital Assets/Tokenization - US

About the role

SS&C is leading the way in bringing Wall Street funds onto the blockchain. This role involves helping tokenize money market funds and other public and private funds for a new era of investing. You will work closely with clients, tech, ops, and compliance teams to integrate tokenization into the transfer agency system. Your responsibilities include supporting real-world pilots and proof-of-concepts, tracking global regulations and market trends, and making recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Help tokenize money market funds and other public and private funds for a new era of investing
• Meet with clients and build client-facing decks, RFP responses, and presentations showcasing cutting-edge tokenization capabilities
• Contribute to roadmap planning and product design, researching networks, token standards, and emerging tech to shape innovation strategy
• Work side-by-side with tech, ops, and compliance teams to integrate tokenization into the transfer agency system
• Support real-world pilots and proof-of-concepts, helping test, refine, and roll out industry-first blockchain solutions
• Track global regulations and market trends, turning insights into actionable recommendations for leadership

Requirements

• A genuine passion for blockchain and tokenization
• Demonstrable enthusiasm for learning and staying updated with emerging trends in tokenization and digital finance
• A deep understanding of digital assets, token standards, and smart contracts models
• Good knowledge of fund structures and transfer agency processes, with a hunger to become a subject-matter expert
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus comfort with data tools
• Excellent communication skills, confident working with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• A solid understanding of investment fund structures (mutual funds, ETFs, money market funds) and U.S. regulations (SEC, FINRA, CFTC)
• A great awareness of regulatory frameworks for tokenized assets in the U.S.
• Experience in both TradFi and DeFi, acting as the bridge for current and future roadmaps
• Understanding of the capital market plumbing in the US (including the DTCC ecosystem)
