Head of DevSecOps
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve DevSecOps strategy across engineering and technology teams
- Drive automation, CI/CD improvements, and modern software delivery practices
- Embed security practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Establish best practices around cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering
- Support the adoption of modern technologies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams
Requirements
Proven experience leading DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering teams
Strong understanding of cloud environments, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure practices
Experience integrating security into software development and operational processes
Able to influence across engineering, security, and business stakeholders
Track record of scaling technology platforms and driving transformation within complex environments
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE teams within complex technology environments
A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, security best practices, and modern software delivery methodologies
This leader will partner closely with engineering, security, and technology teams to establish best practices, improve developer enablement, and ensure the organization can scale securely and efficiently
Skills
Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Understanding of cloud environments, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure practices
Experience integrating security into software development and operational processes
