Head of Design

Responsibilities

• Lead a 40-person design team across various product areas, setting strategic direction
• Define next-generation AI-native product experiences and design standards
• Establish an AI-focused design practice and workflows for improved collaboration
• Engage deeply in design decisions, enhancing interaction and visual quality
• Set and uphold design quality standards and systems across the organization
• Proactively shape design direction and establish a pace for product development
• Build partnerships with Product and Engineering to ensure shared quality frameworks

Qualifications

• 15+ years of design experience, with 5+ years leading large design organizations
• Deep fluency in interaction and visual design
• Extensive B2B SaaS experience, understanding complex workflows and platform-level challenges
• Organizational AI fluency with a proven track record of implementing AI in design processes
• Experience building and managing design quality systems
• Adaptable leader who has successfully navigated company inflection points
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, fostering collaboration with product and engineering
