Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day offshore decommissioning and abandonment construction activities across assigned projects
- Act as the focal point between Project Management, Asset Holders, Contractors and Offshore Construction Teams
- Ensure execution activities are carried out in line with approved scopes of work, drawings, procedures and construction methodologies
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to construction supervisors and contractors throughout offshore campaigns
- Review and approve contractor deliverables across FEED, engineering and project execution phases
- Oversee offshore lifting, rigging, dismantling and removal operations involving jackets, topsides, subsea pipelines and umbilicals
- Avoid full compliance with industry safety, quality and environmental standards
- Support schedule delivery, construction planning and operational risk management across complex offshore scopes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or related discipline
- 15+ years of construction engineering experience within offshore oil & gas projects
- Minimum 8 years focused on offshore decommissioning and abandonment activities
- Strong experience managing large-scale offshore decommissioning projects involving jackets, topsides and subsea infrastructure
- Hands-on offshore construction and heavy lifting experience
- Strong background in FEED and EPRD projects with contractor management exposure
- Excellent understanding of offshore engineering standards, HSE and quality requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
