About the Role
We're looking for a strategic communicator to lead our external communications and shape how our work is understood across media, customers, and the AI ecosystem. You'll own our communications strategy—from product launches and company announcements to executive thought leadership and media relations, helping build trust, credibility, and visibility for the company.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the company's external communications and PR strategy.
- Build relationships with journalists, creators, analysts, and industry influencers.
- Secure earned media across digital, print, broadcast, podcasts, and social channels.
- Develop messaging for product launches, partnerships, company announcements, and executive communications.
- Position company leaders through interviews, speaking engagements, bylines, and media opportunities.
- Prepare executives with messaging, briefing materials, and media coaching.
- Manage external PR agencies and communications partners.
- Lead crisis and rapid-response communications when needed.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading communications or PR for high-growth technology companies.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven success securing top-tier media coverage and building lasting press relationships.
- Experience leading communications for product launches and major company announcements.
- Strong strategic judgment with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI, developer tools, enterprise software, or B2B SaaS.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Crisis communications experience.
Pay
The national pay range for this full-time position is a base salary of $150,000 – $200,000. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies.
