About the role

You will lead the Business Marketing function as the central point of accountability for integrating business and marketing priorities. You will work in close collaboration with business leaders across product and segment teams to ensure marketing strategies are tightly connected to business goals, customer needs, and growth priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs that align to business objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Drive alignment across strategy, planning, and execution to create consistent, high-impact outcomes.
  • Evolve an audience-first messaging strategy across the Fidelity consumer portfolio, using cross-functional marketing expertise, strong strategic thinking, and deep understanding of customer insights.
  • Orchestrates integrated marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels to support customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Define how offerings are positioned and brought to market across customer segments and lifecycle stages, ensuring consistent, personalized, and trust-building experiences.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including a direct report responsible for overseeing the strategy and development of the firm’s loyalty program.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated success leading integrated, multi-channel marketing (paid, owned, and earned) and developing and executing audience strategies in vertical product structure within large, complex organizations.
  • Proven marketing leader with strong experience owning end-to-end marketing strategy, planning, and execution aligned to business goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives, performance insights, and customer needs into actionable marketing programs.
  • Experienced people leader who builds, coaches, and develops high-performing teams with clear accountability and growth focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and collaborate effectively across business, product, and segment leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding of customer insights, research, and analytics, with an ability to apply data to inform decisions and optimize performance.
  • Track record of delivering customer-centric strategies across multi-division enterprises that drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty, ideally within financial services or similarly complex industries.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across marketing, product, analytics, and senior executive levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly structure recommendations, influence decisions, and present to executive audiences.
  • Authentic and inclusive leader who fosters innovation, continuous learning, and a culture of collaboration and results.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $185,000-$400,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.

Schedule

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model: Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
